The arrival of imported sugar continues, with additional vessels expected to reach Pakistani ports in the next few days. According to sources, the government had approved tenders for the import of approximately 310,000 metric tons of sugar, out of which 105,000 metric tons have already been sold.
In the next 2 days, one vessel named Beluga A carrying imported sugar are expected to dock at local port.
According to data released by the Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) on November 1, 2025, total sugar stocks with mills stood at 301,600 metric tons, which continue to be lifted daily. Experts estimate that this stock will last until around November 20.
Combining the carry-forward stocks, government-imported sugar, and local mill inventories, the total available stock may reach around 300,000 metric tons.
