Pakistan Textile Export Performance (July–January FY2025-26)

Textile exports recorded 1.24% increase during the first seven months of the current fiscal year, reflecting steady growth in Pakistan’s overall export performance. According to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, total textile exports reached $10.904 billion during July 2025 to January 2026, compared to $10.770 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year. This represents a rise of $0.134 billion year-on-year.

Ready-made garments exports increased by 5.69 percent, rising from $2.440 billion to $2.579 billion. Knitwear exports grew by 2.14 percent, reaching $3.098 billion compared to $3.033 billion last year. Bedwear exports posted a 2.70 percent increase, climbing from $1,868.894 million to $1,919.469 million, adding $50.575 million in foreign exchange earnings.

Exports of tents, tarpaulins, and canvas rose by 2.19 percent, increasing from $83.539 million to $85.375 million during the review period. Meanwhile, miscellaneous textile exports, including raw cotton, recorded a significant surge of 323.05 percent. Export earnings in this category increased from $0.616 million to $2.606 million. On a monthly basis, textile exports jumped 28.72 percent in January 2026 compared to December 2025, increasing from $1,350.860 million to $1,738.803 million.

On a year-on-year basis, exports in January 2026 grew by 3.13 percent compared to January 2025, rising from $1,685.905 million to $1,738.803 million. The latest figures highlight sustained momentum in Pakistan’s textile sector, driven by higher exports of value-added products and improved global demand.
