๐ง๐ท Brazil โ Sugar output has been raised to 45M MT, with 51% of sugarcane allocated for sugar production.
๐ฎ๐ณ India โ Sugar production jumped 28% YoY to 7.8M MT between OctโDec. Total 2025/26 output now 31M MT. Sugar allocation for ethanol drops to 3.4M MT โ means more left for exports. Exports capped at 1.5M MT, but global prices remain under pressure.
๐น๐ญ Thailand โ The worldโs 3rd-largest sugar producer may see a 5% rise in output to 10.5M MT in 2025/26 thanks to a strong sugarcane crop and favorable weather.

๐พ Indonesia Achieves Rice & Corn Self-Sufficiency
๐ For the first time, domestic production meets 100% of national demand in 2025.
๐ Rice production: 34.77M tons (+13.5% YoY), with 4M tons in state reserves.
๐ฝ Corn production: 2.8M tons, expected to reach 4M tons by year-end.
๐ก๏ธ Self-sufficiency allows zero imports for rice & corn, focusing resources on soybeans, wheat, and sugar.
